Maxin' and relaxin'

Hey y'all, so we're going into week #3, and all seems well. Minya is ruling the roost as she should, but also giving us a bit of shut eye from time to time. She has already passed her birth weight by 2 ounces as of Monday, so it appears we're doing something right. She's cute as ever, and loves to be rocked from side to side while on her side. Pooping is her favorite pass time, yet changing her dipees is not so fun. Anywho, we're all doing well, including baba Mary, who has been a tremendous help. Sorry for the quiet spell, but things have been crazy since starting classes again. See you soon.

Well, after two days at the hospital, we braved the negative zero temperatures and made it home. Its been a whirlwind of a time, and we're still trying to comprehend what all three of us have gone through. Thanks to all of you for your kind words and inspirations. We want each and everyone of you to be a part of her life. We'll keep you posted as this amazing being poops, eats, sleeps, and cries. Oh, and we've decided to spell her name as Minya, not Menya. Peace!

Well, folks, to all those who have been anxiously waiting, she arrived at 2:08pm on January 12, 2009!! Safe and sound at 9 pounds 8 ounces!! Beautiful as can be. Allison was amazing, and popped her out in merely 6 hours of labor! It was truly an amazing experience to be a part of. Our midwife and doula were beyond stellar, and guided Allison confidently through it all. We are in deep gratitude to you both for delivering our precious baby girl. Thanks to all who sent us your love and support. Now, you just gotta come and meet her. Love to everyone!

Momo - 1/1/06 - 1/10/09

This morning, Momo, our beloved dog, passed away. For those of you who knew him, little description is needed to describe what an amazing dog and companion he was. He had a magnificent soul. May he rest in peace. We love you Momo!!
